Sunway Lagoon Resort Surf Beach, will be the chosen destination for MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia.
Witness the world’s largest man-made Surf Beach drained completely dry to welcome 15,000 of Asia’s finest partygoers!

MTV WORLD STAGE is a MTV’s global series that brings to the fore, multi-genre talents with global relevance every Friday nights to over 550 million households around the world. It features the most exclusive gigs and unique concert locations from around the world. Music fans in 162 countries are transported to front row seats somewhere in the world to experience their favorite recording artists live. The premiere episode aired on February 27, 2009 with Coldplay Live in Tokyo from the Saitama Super Arena. Katy Perry in Barcelona, Spain, Franz Ferdinand at the MTV Winter Valencia and Amy Winehouse at the Oxegen festival, Ireland were just some of the exciting concerts that was aired over the following weeks since MTV World Stage was launched.
